Every summer and winter Hansamo’s newsletter team releases an article that contains events people in Hansamo attended and formed to promote and educate Korean culture to the community and future generations. In our most recent newsletter (Vol. 12 winter 2018), our newsletter team wrote about many events that happened towards the end of the year 2017. They mentioned about the 25th Korean Day festival where people from Hansamo performed traditional dances, played traditional instruments, and even displayed a wonderful yeoldubal sangmo at Union Square. Our team also wrote about the San Ramon 150 “Culture in the Community” celebration where different cultures are given a booth and a respective performance. This newsletter contains many other events Hansamo has participated in, an interview with Catharine Baker, our State Assemblywoman, and many events and information about Korea, such as technology software, nuclear power phase-out, popular dramas, Korean heroes, etc.
