Hansamo’s Samgomu Performance Highlights the 5th SV Korean Cultural Festival
The 5th Korean Cultural Festival, hosted by the Silicon Valley Korean American Federation and organized by the Korean American Cultural Foundation, took place on September 20th at Santa Clara Central Park Pavilion.
Among the many highlights of the day, Hansamo stood out with a captivating Samgomu (three-drum dance) performance. Dressed in vibrant Hanbok and moving in perfect harmony with the powerful rhythms of the drums, Hansamo’s dance team brought both elegance and energy to the stage. Their performance drew enthusiastic applause and became one of the most memorable moments of the festival.
The festival also featured a variety of cultural performances, including guest singers from Korea, Changhoo Lee, Gahi Yoo, and Heesung Choi, as well as the Elite Taekwondo Team, the Katuri Korean Dance Troupe, and the Korean Cultural Center’s Woori-Sawi group.
With this year’s Samgomu performance, Hansamo once again showcased the beauty of Korean tradition and proudly shared the spirit of Hansamo with the community.
