2025 Hansamo Year-End Party Brings Students and Parents Together

On the evening of December 20th, the Hansamo year-end party was held at Soo Dance, bringing together students and parents to celebrate the close of a meaningful semester. The event was a time to recognize the hard work and dedication of both students and parents throughout the year, while also renewing everyone’s energy for the upcoming semester.

The student council prepared and led a variety of engaging games, while parents contributed a wide selection of homemade dishes and snacks, creating a warm and festive atmosphere. One of the most entertaining games challenged students to pick up a candy cane using only their mouths and place it into a cup, drawing laughter and cheers from both students and parents. Another highlight was a team competition in which groups worked together using rubber bands to move and stack cups, encouraging teamwork and lively participation from everyone watching.

After the games, students and parents gathered to enjoy the abundant food together, sharing conversations and laughter in a relaxed setting. The evening concluded with a fun White Elephant gift exchange, which added excitement, smiles, and a bit of playful tension as gifts were passed back and forth.

The party offered a meaningful opportunity for students and parents to step away from their busy schedules and simply enjoy being together in the moment.  It allowed everyone to connect, reflect on the shared efforts of the past months, and celebrate what they had accomplished together, while being reminded that Hansamo is a community where students and parents grow and support one another.
