held by the Oakland & East Bay Korean American Association Inc.
On Friday, September 5, 2025, ‘2025 the Korean Culture Festival held by the Oakland & East Bay Korean American Association Inc.’ was held in Oakland.
The festival celebrated the beauty of Korean heritage and modern flair. The participants experienced an evening filled with art, music, dance, and food. They savored bold, flavorful dishes that highlight Korean rich culinary traditions, and took part in cultural demonstrations that bring history and creativity to life.
The night began with a moving tribute featuring the Korean American and U.S. national anthems, followed by breathtaking traditional performances and the sounds of authentic Korean instruments.
Hansamo’s Pungmulnori team made the festival more exciting with outstanding performance. The grand sound and rhythm of traditional Korean instruments in Pungmulnori inspired the atmosphere of the festival. Hansamo performers participated in the festival with a sense of duty, even though it was a weekday evening. Although the number of participating members was smaller than usual because it was a weekday performance, they did their best and made a great performance. So, they learned the importance of teamwork and felt proud of themselves.
At this festival, they also experienced various Korean Cultures and added joy with the food provided by Oakland & East Bay Korean American Association. It was a festival on a weekday evening after school, so Hansamo performers were busy, but they made a rewarding and meaningful memory.
