Hansamo Concludes the 2025–2026 Season at the Art & Wind Festival

On May 24, Hansamo returned to San Ramon’s Art & Wind Festival at Central Park for its final performance of the 2025–2026 season. Under clear skies and warm sunshine, students gathered to share the energy and spirit of Korean traditional performing arts with festival visitors and the local community.

The performance opened with the powerful rhythms of the Nanta Team, whose energetic drumming immediately captured the attention of the audience. The Dance Team followed with a beautiful presentation of Samgomu, showcasing graceful movements and the unique harmony of dance and drum performance. Following that, the Pungmul Team, dressed in newly updated bright blue costumes, filled the stage with lively music and movement. The cheerful blue costumes blended beautifully with the clear spring sky, creating a memorable visual that perfectly complemented the festive atmosphere of the day.

Following the performance, students, families, and instructors gathered for Hansamo’s annual year-end celebration. Graduating seniors were recognized with gifts and words of appreciation for their years of dedication and leadership. Awards were also presented to students who participated in every performance throughout the season, honoring their commitment and dedication.

As everyone enjoyed pizza and reflected on the past year, the gathering became more than just a celebration. It was a moment to recognize how much the students had grown. For several seniors, this festival marked their final performance with Hansamo after many years of participation. Watching them take the stage one last time was both a proud and emotional moment for fellow students, parents, and instructors alike.

At the same time, the event offered a glimpse into Hansamo’s future. Alongside the graduating seniors stood newer members who are just beginning their own journeys. Seeing students at different stages of growth reminded us that Hansamo’s story continues from one generation of students to the next, as younger members learn from those who came before them and eventually grow into leaders themselves.

As the 2025–2026 season comes to a close, Hansamo celebrates not only another successful year of performances, but also the friendships, memories, and personal growth that continue to make the organization a special community for its students.
